B is for bird

My second card today is made with stamps from Elusive Images. Both the backing paper and the main image have been brayered with Adirondak Wild Plum dye based ink from the earth tone range. The lovely little bird house has been stamped in black. The main image is on glossy cardstock. The bird in tree has been stamped onto the glossy once the brayered ink has dried. Then I have stamped the bird again onto pink patterned paper and pieced it over the bird in the main image. I cut out another stamped bird and added a plum feather for it's tail. Both the main image and the backing paper are backed with black. The edge of the black panel for the main image has been punched with a martha steward punch. The B is a metal letter that I have coloured with alcohol inks, wild plum, slate grey and pitch black.
Bye for now.

  1. Gorgeous card Wanda - I love what you've done with the alcohol inks on that B, it's perfect for the Crafty Ann's challenge.

  4. I haven't seen that particular punch Wanda. It looks lovely. This card is right up my street. I love the colours and the bird stamp is fab. Great work. Glad to see you're getting back into the swing.
