Knowledge

Here is card for a man I created this morning, no particular challenge in mind for this one. The main image is from Fashion Boutique CD by Joanna Sheen, as is the newsprint backing paper. The brown behind that is a scrap from my stash. My main image is mounted on a nestie. The sentiment stamp is on a block I bought from Stamp Addicts (useful stamp this). The twine is also from my stash (it was much paler but I darkened it with vintage photo DI. The card candy is also from my stash. Thanks for dropping by. I am trying to be a better blogger so I hope you will feel the need to drop by more often now. Bye for now. Wanda. xxx

Tie a Yellow Ribbon

What am I like? No posts for ages then two in one day. The card above is my entry to Rainbow Lady's challenge this week, where the theme is "Tie a Yellow Ribbon". I forgot to check, but I think the main image is from a stamp sheet by Creative Expressions. The main panel has been cut with a nestie, as has the panel immediately behind the main image. the larger panel has been embossed with a big dots folder, the I have lightly gone over it, and the the edges of the two other panels with DI, the palest blue. My main image has been coloured with copic markers. The yellow ribbon is from my stash.

Thanks for dropping by. Your comments are, as always, greatly appreciated.

Bye for now.

Haute Couture

The challenge over on Dragon's Dream challenge blog this week is Haute Couture. I was determined to get back to challenges after a long absence. But life just got in the way!

Anyway, here is my entry. Sorry, it's been so long, I forgot to crop it! The stamps are from a sewing plate by Creative Expressions. The flowers I made using Marianne dies, leaves created using a punch, pearls and beaded twine from my stash.

Bye for now. Comments always welcome.
