The image is by Whiff checked backing paper is by Dovecraft.

The blue brads on the image and on the panel across the centre are my metal, and the backing paper is checked.

Right, that's it for today. I'm ready to eat!

Bye for now.

Fairy Glen

Here is my second offering of the day - and my entry for Rainbow Lady's challenge number 91 "Recipe".
The Fairy stamp is from Personal Impressions. The background stamps are a mix of Sheena Douglas and Lavinia Stamps. I have brayered the backgrounds using Big N Juicy Soothing Sunset, and stamped the meadow plants using Dried Marigold Distress ink, Adirondack Red Pepper, and Purple Twilight. The fairy is stamped with black versafine. The black dotty ribbon is from my stash and the photo corners I picked up when at Rosemary Merry's shop last Monday.

This is nearly a record for me - two cards in one afternoon!

Pretty in Pink!

After a late start I tried to get to craft club this morning at Carmel near Holywell. I got as far as Caerwys then decided I had better turn back as it was snowing very heavily there and traffic was going very slow. Once I had got back home and had a cup of tea I decided I had better get craftingon my own. So here is my offering of the day. I actually coloured in the image a few days ago when I was in one of those colouring in moods. The image is coloured with copics. The image is "Daisy" by Elizabeth Bell for Sugar Nellie. BP is from My Minds Eye. The little fabric flowers I bought when out foraging in Llandudno with my friend Elizabeth, on Tuesday. Punched border is a Martha Steward punch. Ribbons and gems are from my stash. Card base measures 6" x 6".
I really should check out the challenges before I make a card as this one doesn't seem to fit the bill for any I know of - typical. Trust me!

Two Ladies from Jaonna Sheen's ATC Assistant

Lady in Blue
The card on the right, is from Joanna Sheen's ATC Assistant CD, with just a little distressing around the edges of each layer with antique linen distress ink. The second layer is made using a nestie. Flowers and leaves are made with punches and adorned with gems. Three gems at the top and a blue ribbon. Sentiment stamp unknown.

And my second offering of the day.

Lady in Green

My second offering of the day is again from the JS ATC Assistant CD. There are some really lovely images on this CD, and they're not just for ATCs! It's a pity the colours don't show up so well in this image, but the shawl is a lovely shade of green. The fleur de lys is an EK success punch, the flowers are from Scrap Pack, finished off with gems. A green ribbon completes the card.

Until next time

And here is my offering for today. Main image of bird cage is from Stampers Anonymous, blossom and bird are both Clarity Stamps, the sentiment is from an Elusive Images bird sheet. Flowers made with flower punches and finished with gems. Backing paper made with a flourish stamp, from the same sheet as the bird cage, and stippled with distress inks. Punched border is my newest martha steward punch.

Until next time,

B is for bird

My second card today is made with stamps from Elusive Images. Both the backing paper and the main image have been brayered with Adirondak Wild Plum dye based ink from the earth tone range. The lovely little bird house has been stamped in black. The main image is on glossy cardstock. The bird in tree has been stamped onto the glossy once the brayered ink has dried. Then I have stamped the bird again onto pink patterned paper and pieced it over the bird in the main image. I cut out another stamped bird and added a plum feather for it's tail. Both the main image and the backing paper are backed with black. The edge of the black panel for the main image has been punched with a martha steward punch. The B is a metal letter that I have coloured with alcohol inks, wild plum, slate grey and pitch black.
Bye for now.

I decided to have a go at making a shaped card, not something I do very often. Anyway, here is my offering. An image from Sarah Kay, coloured with copics, mounted on nesties. Backing papers from my stash and finished with a double martha steward punched border and ribbon.

Until next time.
